THS will host its annual Bear Days in August. During Bear Days, students come to school to get pictures taken, purchase items such as ASB cards and yearbooks, meet with counselors to make schedule corrections, and get parking passes. Fees for yearbooks, ASB, parking passes, and athletics may be made online using the online payment system.

Masks are required.

Off Campus Privilege: Juniors and seniors who would like to be able to go off campus during Power Hour should complete this form and bring it to Bear Days to get on off campus privilege sticker. The form must be signed by parent/guardian. Students who cannot attend Bear Days can turn it in to Mr. Hansen when school starts.

Parking Permit Application: Students who wish to get a parking pass need to bring this completed form to Bear Days along with a copy of student's driver's license and vehicle insurance. Students who cannot attend Bear Days should see Ms. Weihe when school starts.

Computer Checkout: Starting this fall, Tahoma School District students in grades 6-12 will be expected to have a fully functioning, charged computer at school. Last spring showed us that many students preferred bringing their own device to school. We will continue to allow students to bring their own device, OR students may checkout a Chromebooks if they prefer to use a school issued device. Parents and guardians who wish to checkout a district device for their child should request one using the request form found in Skyward. Once a parent/guardian has filled out the form, the Chromebook will be available for pick up at Bear Days. There will be additional pick up times for students who cannot attend Bear Days, dates/times to be determined. Please note: Devices will NOT be checked out to students unless a parent/guardian has filled out the request form.

Password Resets: Your Tahoma Identity password will be reset on August 16. After August 16, when try to access GoTahoma (Google Docs, Google Classroom, email, etc.) you will eventually be prompted to create a new password. You can reset your password during Bear Days at your school if you are checking out a Chromebook to borrow for the year, or you can follow these directions: Student Password Reset Information for Secondary Students and Families. Schedule Changes/Corrections: If you would like to make a correction to your schedule, please read through this information and fill out the form linked below. Counseling staff will review your request and respond to it by email or phone. Students will need to log in with their GoTahoma account to fill out the schedule change form. Your request will be processed faster if you fill out the highlighted form below rather than emailing your counselor directly. 

You do not need to see your counselor during Bear Days if:
You are a junior or senior and want to drop a class and not replace it with a different class, you can fill out Application for School Day Release/Drop Class and upload it when you fill out the Schedule Change/Correction Form linked below. 

You want to be a TA, fill out this Application for Teacher Assistant, get it signed by the teacher/staff member you plan to TA with, and return it to the counseling office during the first week of school. 

You will probably need to see your counselor during Bear Days for most other schedule change requests. Make sure your request meets at least one of these criteria:
- I am missing a class
- I have a class I did not request (counseling staff will check to verify)
- I want to drop a class/late arrival/early dismissal
- I am a junior or senior and I don't need the class to meet graduation requirements
- I am incorrectly placed in a class because I have not taken prerequisite
- I failed the prerequisite for a class I am registered for
- I am missing a class related to my personal pathway
- I already took the class

Schedule changes will NOT be made:
- If you got a class you requested as an elective during registration
- To change teachers
- To be in a class with friends
- For second semester (those can be done at the end of first semester)

2021-2022 Yearbooks: You may buy a book for $60 using the online payment system.

2020-2021 Yearbooks: If you were not able to pick up your 2020-21 yearbook on July 29, you may pick it up during Bear Days. You must bring identification such as a driver’s license, student ID, or a printed profile page from Skyward with the picture to receive your book. 

2020-2021 Materials Return: Students may return materials checked out for the pervious school year during Bear Days. A return bin will be located in the West Entrance vestibule (entrance to Bear Days near the attendance office)
