Future Ready: Join us virtually Thursday evening (10/21) from 6:30-7:30 pm to learn about saving & paying for college. Click here to register & get the Zoom link.

Tahoma Athletics: FamilyID Winter Registration will open Mon 10/25 for Boys and Girls Basketball, Boys and Girls Wrestling, Boys Swim & Dive, Gymnastics, and Dance.  Try-outs begin 11/15. **Volleyball game tonight vs Kentridge is “Dig Pink” at THS 7:15pm**

Student Drop Off/Pick Up: A few tips and tricks to quickly navigate drop off and pick up: carpooling so fewer cars are lining up, consider having your student ride the bus or walk, and/or pick your student up in the skate park or off school grounds. Please remember the flow of the parking lot for pick up/drop off is the use of two entrance lanes into the school parking lot and one exit lane. Thanks for your help as we work to solve the congestion together!

Attendance: Parents, PLEASE give attendance at least a 1-HOUR advance notice when you need to excuse your student and WHICH ENTRY you’ll be at; voicemails get transcribed to emails and emails are read/processed accordingly; dismissal slips are then sent to students in class. With advance notice it makes the process much easier. Students will meet you at your car, no need to come to the doors!
*Due to the volume of students, replies are NOT sent**
Students arriving late, please advise attendance as soon as possible.
Contact THAttend@tahomasd.us (or) call 425-413-6209 to arrange the details.

Student of the Quarter Prizes: We love to celebrate and recognize our amazing students! One way we do this is by holding a Student of the Quarter celebration 4 times a year.  The students and parents are invited to a celebration in our PAC and includes prize giveaways! Do you or the company you work for have new prizes or gift cards you’d like to donate to this cause?  If so, we’d be grateful. Items can be dropped off at the front office, let them know it’s for the Student of the Quarter recognition. Any questions, please contact Judy Beliveau jbelivea@tahomasd.us  Thanks for your consideration!

Parent/Teacher Conferences:  Tahoma High School’s Parent/Teacher Conferences will be the evenings of November 9th and 10th and will be remote via Zoom.  Parents will receive an emailed Progress Report the week of November 1st and may schedule a conference with any teacher after that time.  Space is limited, so we encourage a conference only if your student is struggling academically.

Academic Support:  Tutoring and academic support for students is available beginning the week of October 4th in the THS Learning Commons after school from 2:30 – 3:30. THS teachers provide the additional support students need in English, Math, and Science.
