Siebert Family in a pumpkin patch

Hello! I'm very excited to be your new Digital Arts Teacher here at Tahoma High.
I can't wait to get to know my students this year.
Here's a bit about me and my background-
I have been a professional Graphic Designer, Illustrator, and Fine Artist for over 15 years. I've worked in the corporate world and am the CEO and Artist at my own creative services company. You may have seen some of my chalk art or window paintings at local businesses! In addition to graphic design, some of my personal business projects include mural painting, storefront window painting, custom built chalkboard menus with illustrations, and sign painting.
Likes & Hobbies:
I spend most of my time outside the classroom as a mom to two daughters, ages 13 and 10. My husband and I have a home here in Maple Valley that we share with the kids, 3 dogs, and many freshwater aquarium fish. I also love to craft, DIY, and dabble in woodworking. We also love to travel and have recently been to Alaska, California and Arizona. My favorite holiday is Halloween. I love to decorate my house and make fun costumes or do face painting for my kids.
I grew up in Kent and graduated from Kentridge High School. I then pursued my love of art and design at Green River Community College for one year and then attended Western Washington University. I have a BA in Design Production. I love to learn so I am constantly watching tutorials and attending workshops on new design technology and Adobe Creative programs.
