Seniors - Class of 2021:  The PTA has generously donated yard signs to celebrate your senior year!  You can come pick up your sign on Thursday Nov 19th from 3pm-6pm at the High School.  Just pull up to the bus lane area and we will check your name off the list when you arrive! Go Bears!  

Future Ready:  Financial Aid Q & A for senior families on Thursday, November 19 from 6:30-7:30. Click here to sign up.

 Virtual Open House: Tahoma High School’s Virtual Open House for the new quarter will be held on Thursday, November 19.  Teacher videos describing themselves, their curriculum, and grading procedures will be posted on teacher websites after 5pm.  Parents will be receiving an email with their student’s schedule and links to the websites for period 5-8 classes.

Power Hour Info: Thank you for answering the recent survey about remote learning. Parents and students were really clear in asking for consistent and easier access to teachers during Power Hour. In response, all teachers have a dedicated Power Hour Google Meets link on their Google Classroom Stream and a dedicated 30 minutes during Power Hour each day for student drop ins. By next week we will also have a Power Hour directory available on the THS website – stay tuned!

9th Grade Scholarship Opportunity: 9th graders who are in foster care, or whose families are homeless, receive SNAP/TANF benefits, or considered low income are encouraged to sign up for the College Bound Scholarship program. The College Bound scholarship was created to provide state financial aid to low-income students who may not consider college a possibility due to the cost. Click here to learn more. Applications and signature pages must be submitted by November 30.

 Materials for 2nd Quarter: If you still need materials for this quarters classes, they are located in the Attendance vestibule on the FIELD side of school. Book returns are located in the same area.
