Attendance: Please note the attendance office operates by voicemail/email only due to the volume of calls. If students need to be dismissed, please provide as much notice as possible to the attendance office by leaving a voicemail at 425-413-6209, emailing [email protected], or sending a note with your student to the attendance office. Dismissal slips then get delivered to your student and they meet you at your car!
Key Club: Hygiene Drive for women’s care baskets is running through tomorrow, June 1st. Looking for new/unopened hygiene products such as dental floss, travel-size shampoo and conditioner, bar soap, deodorant, pads/tampons, Chapstick, and socks. Items can be dropped off in room 323. Thanks bears!
PROM Ticket Info: LAST DAY TO PURCHASE TICKETS is tomorrow June 1st. Prom is scheduled for June 3rd at Block 41 in Seattle from 8-11 pm. This year’s theme is “Midnight Masquerade”, masks will be provided with ticket purchase. Guest pass forms are now available; they must be completely filled out and a copy of the guest’s photo ID (license/student ID card) attached BEFORE they will be accepted for approval.
Senior Elementary Walk: Permission forms are due by June 2nd for seniors interested in doing one last walk through their elementary schools before graduation. Stop by the main office to pick up your permission form; once that is completed, return it back to the main office. The event will take place on June 14th, 9:15 – 10:15 (bring your caps/gowns). You’ll be back at THS in time for senior check out.
Senior Grad Vax Records: Graduating seniors, your vaccination records will be available for pick up on June 14th at Senior Check-Out.
Future Ready: Juniors who are thinking about applying to 4-year colleges in the fall should start planning over the summer to decrease stress during senior year. Use this checklist and resources on the Four-year College page of the Future Ready Center website to get started. Students can make individual appointments to talk to a Future Ready Specialist using the “Make an Appointment” buttons on this page.
Cap and Gown Donations Needed: Our THS counseling team is in need of caps and gowns to loan to students for the upcoming Class of 2023 graduate ceremony. If you have a blue THS cap and gown from a previous graduate, and would like to donate it to THS, please contact the counseling office at 425-413-6204. You may also drop it off in the main office or the counseling office. All blue cap and gown donations are greatly appreciated!
Yearbook Distribution:
*June 1st: Yearbook club will be holding an optional Food Drive for SENIORS ONLY after school. Seniors who bring a food item will have an opportunity to pick up their yearbooks a day early and skip the line on Friday. Books will be distributed in the CTE hallway near the auto shop and welding classrooms. All food will be donated to the Maple Valley Food Bank.
*June 2nd: All students 9-12 who have pre-ordered a yearbook will be able to pick them up during Spring Fling at the end of the school day. If possible, please bring picture ID with you to expedite the handout process.
*June 5th: Students still wishing to purchase a yearbook can buy any remaining books from the cashier’s office.

Senior Grad Night Tickets: This grad-night event is quickly approaching! An evening of fun is guaranteed! Tickets are currently $140 but will increase to $175 the night of graduation so get your tickets now! Click HERE to order on-line. Athletics: Summer Sports Registration is now open. Summer sports include football, football-managers, girls' soccer, cross country, dance, boys' & girls’ basketball, and boys' & girls' wrestling. To be eligible for Summer Sports you must have an up-to-date sports physical through the end of August and have no fines. Please check out the Tahoma Athletic website for further information on sport specifics
Homework Help Sessions (After School): Teachers are available to help students from 2:30-3:30 PM in English, Math, and Science. Please review the following schedule: Tuesday - English/Math/Science; Wednesday - English/Science; Thursday – Math.
