Bear Days

During Bear Days, students come to school to get pictures taken, purchase items such as ASB cards, parking passes, and yearbooks, and meet with counselors to make schedule changes, if needed. Please scroll down to see details about schedule changes. Fees for yearbooks, ASB, parking passes, and athletics may be made online using the online payment system.

Students who cannot attend Bear Days may come on a day scheduled for a different class, or take care of Bear Day tasks once school starts.

SENIORS
Monday, August 21
8:00 am - 11:00 am

JUNIORS
Monday, August 21
12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

SOPHOMORES
Tuesday, August 22
8:00 am - 11:00 am

FRESHMEN
Wednesday, August 23
Summit Trail students will attend from 8:00 - 11:00 am
Maple View students will attend from 12:30 - 3:30 pm
Students who did not attend either school may choose either session.

Bus transportation will be provided for all incoming ninth graders. Families will receive a postcard in the mail with more detailed information about times and bus routes.

All students, including seniors, need to have their picture taken by the school photographer for the yearbook.


Off Campus Privilege
Juniors and seniors who would like to be able to go off campus during Power Hour should complete this form and bring it to Bear Days to get on off campus privilege sticker. The form must be signed by parent/guardian. Students who cannot attend Bear Days can turn it in to Mrs. Daoust at the Connect Counter when school starts.

Parking Pass Application
Students who wish to get a parking pass need to bring this completed form to Bear Days along with a copy of student's driver's license and vehicle insurance. Students who cannot attend Bear Days should see Ms. Weihe when school starts.

Schedule Changes
If you need a schedule change or correction, come to the Future Ready Center during Bear Days. Changes are made for the reasons listed below.
- I am missing a class
- I have a class I did not request (counseling staff will check to verify)
- I want to drop a class/late arrival/early dismissal
- I am a junior or senior and I don't need the class to meet graduation requirements
- I am incorrectly placed in a class because I have not taken prerequisite
- I failed the prerequisite for a class I am registered for
- I am missing a class related to my personal pathway
- I already took the class

Schedule changes will NOT be made:
- If you got a class you requested as an elective during registration
- To change teachers
- To be in a class with friends
- For second semester (those can be done at the end of first semester)
