Healthy Youth Survey - October 16-20

Healthy Youth Survey - October 16-20
Posted on 09/29/2023

10th and 12th Grade students will take the Healthy Youth Survey  during the week of October 16-20

Tahoma secondary students will be participating with other students across the state of Washington in the Healthy Youth Survey. This is intended to help inform local, regional and state level leaders on our students’ mental and physical health, life, and learning experiences. This will help gauge the level of student need and resulting investments with federal, state and local resources.

Information for parents and students can be found here.  **Please note, 6th graders will not be asked the extra question about gender identity. Tahoma students will not be asked optional questions around sexual behaviors, abuse, or exploitation. If you would like to look at the survey questions, they are available online here. Please refer to the note above for questions not being asked of Tahoma students.

If families would like more information about this survey, please contact Liz Thibert, Tahoma Wellness Coordinator at 425-413-5505 or by e-mail at [email protected] or contact our Teaching and Learning Department.

If families want to opt their student out and have their child complete an alternative activity, each school has a sign-up sheet in the front office. You can also email the contact at your school:
