Class Description:
In this semester class you will explore the various career paths within the textile and apparel industry—including the art of merchandising your product!  You will have the opportunity to discover your own fashion style through creating mood boards, learning the elements and principles of design, exploring the dance between colors and fabrics which—when combined correctly—create a specific interest for a target market.   You will then apply your own designs to a personally constructed upcycling project that will be presented in a run-way show to your peers.  The entire semester will be captured in a final fashion design project showcasing your own brand, target market, season and theme.
